Recruiters present qualified nursing professionals in the recognition process. Institutions find suitable candidates using filters for specialty, German level, and experience.
All six steps of the recognition procedure – from document preparation to visa – are mapped on the platform. Institutions can view the current status at any time.
Institutions and recruiters can schedule and conduct video interviews directly on the platform – without external tools, GDPR-compliant and straightforward.
All recruiters on CareTrain Connect commit to the CareTrain Connect Ethics Standard: no fees for nursing professionals, transparency, equal treatment, and alignment with the WHO Code of Practice.
CareTrain Connect is closely linked with the TSS Academy for Nursing and Social Care and the CareTrain learning platform – for comprehensive support from preparation through to recognition.
The platform is bilingual (German/English) and designed for global use – so nursing professionals can access information and contacts while still in their home country.
The path from application to a position in Germany
Nursing professionals prepare all necessary documents in their home country: passport, nursing qualification, professional certificate, language certificate (B1/B2), CV, and certified translations.
Recruiters post the profile on CareTrain Connect. Institutions find suitable candidates and conduct video interviews directly on the platform.
After successful matching, an employment contract is signed with the German institution – the basis for all further steps in the recognition process.
The application for recognition of the foreign nursing qualification is submitted to the competent authority in Germany. The platform supports this step documentarily.
If qualification gaps are identified, a deficiency notice is issued. Our bookable add-on "Knowledge Exam Preparation Course" prepares nursing professionals specifically for the knowledge exam via the TSS Academy and CareTrain learning platform.
With an employment contract and recognition certificate, the visa can be applied for. After entry, active work at the German institution begins.
